Welcome to Alexandria. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Alexandria mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
Alexandria is a third-party client that allows users to connect to and interact with their own self-hosted or privately-hosted media services, including but not limited to Audiobookshelf, Kavita, Storyteller, Booklore, Calibre Content Server, Calibre-Web, Plex, and Jellyfin ("Third-Party Services").
The App does not host, upload, or distribute any media content. All media accessed through the App is obtained solely from servers or services owned or controlled by the user.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the Third-Party Services.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App.

You understand that the App cannot control the availability, performance, or behavior of external services.
The App does not host, upload, or distribute media content. All media displayed, streamed, downloaded, or accessed through the App originates from servers or accounts owned or controlled by the user.
The App may download or temporarily cache media files locally on the user's device solely for personal access and offline use. These files remain under the user's control and are not transmitted, shared, uploaded, or stored on any developer-controlled servers.
The App does not provide media content, does not make media available to others, and does not act as a publisher or distributor of any media.
The App may store credentials or access tokens locally on your device for the purpose of connecting to your chosen services. The App does not transmit, store, or process your credentials on external developer servers.

The App may offer one-time purchases, feature unlocks, or subscription tiers.
All payments are processed by the platform provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and subject to their billing and refund policies.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the respective platform in accordance with its policies. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

The App and all associated code, design, features, and branding (excluding names, trademarks, or assets belonging to Third-Party Services) are the intellectual property of the developer.
All trademarks referenced within the App remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and interoperability.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for:
The total liability of the developer will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding any claim.
You may stop using the App at any time. The developer may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms.
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
